How To Remove Stretch Marks - The Exact Steps I Took
During puberty I developed a bit of striae on my hips. I
barely even noticed them because they were so light, but if you
looked close enough you could tell they were there. This didn't
bother me at all because they were so faint, so I didn't really
care about learning how to remove stretch marks.
During my first pregnancy, however, I felt completely the
opposite. I was fortunate enough in that my belly was spared of
stretch marks, but unlucky because the stretch marks ended up
all over my butt and I got some around the sides of my
breasts!
From my research it seems that the stretch marks formed
there because this is where more of my fat was stored. It has
something to do with the hormones from pregnancy (and puberty)
weakening the skin and more estrogen is present in the fatty
areas of the body.
Needless to say, I wasn't going to put up with having a
zebra butt. I wanted to feel sexy again, so I tried a ton of
stretch mark remedies. After a ton of experimenting, I finally
found something that worked for me, and I'm sharing it here
with you for free.
Here's how to remove stretch marks:
1. Use Physicians Complex Toner w/ Glycolic Acid
everyday for 1 month. Just apply it like a normal toner
to the areas with stretch marks. It's best to do this after
your shower.
2. Apply Avacado Oil along with Weleda Skin Food to the skin twice a day for as long as
neccessary (until your stretch marks go away). Either
apply the Avacado Oil once a day and the Weleda Skin Food once a day, or mix them together and apply the
mixture to your skin twice a day.
3. After 1 month of using the toner, start using
Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic Acid 10% Hydrating
Gel. The toner in step one will already have prepped
your skin sufficiently to reduce irritation. Continue
applying the avacado oil and skin food, too.
4. Continue with the 10% gel until they're all gone.
The Alpha Hydroxy Acids (in glycolic acid form) stimulate
collagen production and the production of new skin cells. They
also exfoliate deep down and break up tough scar tissue.
After using the Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) gel, your skin may
be a little pink and even peel. This could make you a tad bit
uncomfortable for a few moments, but it's actually a good thing
for our purposes.
